Natalie & Matthew Wright

are adopting a child from United States of America

Surprise!!!!

The Lord has laid serving the tiniest members of the kingdom, and their birth mothers, on our hearts so we are answering the call and fundraising to adopt! We are so nervous but so excited about the journey that lies ahead of us!

We have seen first hand what God can do and we are trusting Him to go before us, once again, and prepare the way!

We have prayerfully considered this for a quite a while now and we are finally going for it!

We are so excited to see how our journey unfolds and will post updates every step of the way!

We want to ask, if you would please prayerfully consider supporting us finically on our adoption journey. If you feel led to give it would mean the world to us. Every little bit counts and is deeply appreciated!

(We have fundraised a total of $8,572.16 so far! Including donations outside of this platform)

Another way you can help us is to please pray for us! Pray for our future child! Pray for their health! Pray we raise enough to bring them home! Pray for the process and that God would go before us and prepare the way! Pray for their biological Mom and her health as she is making a very hard and brave decision! Your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16) and mean so so much to us!

Finally, would you please help us get the word out? Would you please share this fundraiser and help us grow our family by 2 little feet?

Thank you in advance for being a part of our journey to adoption! Thank you for your sharing, your generosity, your prayers, and even just for reading this!

So yea! We’re having a baby! We just don’t know when, nor with who yet😂🤷‍♀️

All our love and many thanks,

The Wrights (3 on earth, and 2 in heaven. At least for now! 🥹🫶)

    DECEMBER 2025 UPDATE

    January 4, 2026

    Our Dear Friend,

Merry Christmas!! We hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones, and we are wishing you a peaceful Christmas full of joy and sweet memories!

At the very end of November, we decided to continue fundraising and sharing our journey the old fashion way! Social media was bringing just as much negativity as it was positivity and it was very taxing on us emotionally. So we decided to take a leap of faith and continue on only using paper and/or email updates. So if you noticed my radio silence online, that’s why! Haha!

We want to say thank you so much for all of your generosity and prayers! Just since mid October, we have fundraised about $4,810!! Nearly $5k in less than 3 months!! That’s amazing! Every single donation and encouraging word has come in exactly when we needed it! I don’t feel like we could say a thank you big enough to cover just how grateful we truly feel!

If you or anyone you know is looking for ways to be extra generous this Christmas, please consider sharing our story with them! You can do this by sending them the AdoptTogether fundraiser! All the different ways to give will be at the bottom of this letter. Remember, if 50 families gave $100 a month, we would have $30k in 6 months!!

Giving is not the only way to be a part of this journey with us. Prayer or an encouraging word means so very much! It carries us through the hardest days! And of course, sharing our story if it’s on your heart, is so very helpful!

We believe this will happen for us in His timing and not ours. So we are stepping out in faith and trusting Him with who, when, how, and from where!

We love cause He first loved us, and we are adopting because He first adopted us!

Merry Christmas!! We are so grateful for our Savior who gave up being the king of kings, to come down as a baby, and rescue us all from sin about 33 years later.

    All Our Love,
    The Wright Family

    NOVEMBER 2025 UPDATE (Our Why)

    January 4, 2026

    Our Dear Friend,

    As you know
Matthew and I are fundraising to adopt but what you may not know is why we feel led to pursue adoption! November is National Adoption Awareness month and we thought in honor of such, we would tell you a little bit more about how the Lord laid adoption on our hearts as well as invite you to be a part of this journey with us!

Matthew and I had our first baby in September of 2024. She is the silliest goose and the happiest camper and we couldnt love her more if we tried. Almost immediately we knew we wanted another baby but we decided to wait to try till she was 2.

But the Lord had other plans and we discovered we were pregnant with a surprise in both April AND June of 2025. We were so excited! They weren’t planned but they were so wanted! But as I’m sure you have probably guessed, we miscarried both of them. We were devastated. The second one hit us even harder than the first. We still miss them so much.

In our grieving, the Lord reminded us of our dream of adopting one day. It seemed impossible, so we didn’t pursue it right away. But it only weighed on our hearts and minds more and more. After our second miscarriage, we started praying very seriously about what the Lord had for us.
We laid down our timeline and plans for how and when we imagined we would grow our family and sought after what the Lord would have us do.

I found Mustard Seed Adoption consultants (MSAC) through a friend of mine who has adopted herself. She posted on Facebook asking if anyone wanted to adopt; it felt like a sign because that was us! We connected with MSAC and speaking with them felt like all the reassurance we needed that this was absolutely what we wanted to do and where we needed to be.

The funny thing is, we felt the call, but we certainly didn’t have the means to make it happen. Adoption Fees typically range from $45k-$60k, and that’s not including the adoption consultant agency fee, home study fee (which is $1,600 in GA), the cost of the physicals (about $350), lawyers fees, profile book fee, and travel expenses like plane tickets and lodging when we go get the baby. $60k is an overwhelming amount of money, but we knew the Lord wouldn’t have called us, if he hadn’t already gone before us and prepared the way.

Time and time again we have come to him with our anxieties around the financial side of things and time and time again he has said, “give it to me.” “Let me take care of it.” “Trust me.” So even though its scary, we are going to be obedient and trust him.

Thus far we have already seen his faithfulness in action. We have fundraised about $2k so far! Much of which was from complete strangers that he weighted the hearts of with our story. It has been amazing to see, we have been blown away, brought to tears, multiple times!

The way the timeline of this will play out, really depends on how quickly we can fundraise about half of the adoption fee. The goal is to fundraise $5.5k to sign on with mustard seed as well as half of the $60k for the adoption fee. The reason being, we cannot apply to match with a child until we have about half of the adoption fee ready.

We only have 18 months once we sign on with MSAC, so we have to wait until we have about $35,500 fundraised, and then we can sign on with them, and then they can help us apply for grants to hopefully cover the other half, as well as start the home study process and then start applying to be matched with children.

Once we have $35,500, we are signed on with mustard seed, the home study is approved, and profile book is done, we can start applying to be matched with children. To do this, we create a book that tells all about our family (that’s the profile book) and we send it to moms along with a letter telling them about why we want to adopt. We can only apply for one case at a time. Then we eagerly wait to see if that mom says yes to us, and if she does, we are matched! Then the count down is on for when we get to go get the child and bring them home! Closed domestic (which just means, in the USA) adoptions are becoming increasingly rare nowadays. So in some way shape or form, the baby’s mom will then also be in our lives. It may only be via email but it may also mean she does an annual visit. This could be a beautiful way we get to be the hands and feet of Jesus and serve and love this Mom. We are hoping and praying that if the mom God has hand picked for us doesn’t know Jesus, she would see him in us!

All that to say, this is why we are sending the letters! We would like to invite you and your family to be a part of this beautiful journey. There are multiple ways you can help.

The fundraiser platform we selected has a monthly giving option. Matthew and I did the math, if 50 families committed to giving $100 a month, in 6 months we would have $30,000!!

We want to ask if you would please prayerfully consider becoming one of our monthly donors.

    To do this go to:
Scroll up and then click DONATE, and then select the Give Monthly option.

If you want to support us but aren’t sure if you can commit to a monthly donation, you can also give a one time gift! Just scroll up and click DONATE and then select the Give Once option.

We know with Christmas coming up, many people are looking for ways they can be extra generous. If you or someone you know is looking for ways to give this Christmas, would you please consider telling them about our adoption journey? It would mean so much to us! We trust the Lord will put us on the hearts of his servants, even the ones we have never even met!

Finally, and most importantly, please be praying for us! We believe that your prayers are so powerful and they mean a great deal to us! Please pray specifically for our future child and their biological mom! Pray that we may be the hands and feet of Jesus to them both! Pray for their health! Pray that the Lord would be with us in every step of this process! Pray that we would fundraise enough! And finally, pray that the Lord would be with us in the waiting!

All that is left to say is thank you!! Thank you for reading our story and considering supporting us on this journey! Your support would mean so much to us! We can’t do this without you!

We are so excited to see what the Lord has in store! We know from experience it’s almost never what we would have imagined and that’s the best part.

All our love and many thanks,

    The Wright Family
