  Baby Appointment

  So we had a baby appointment this week. Babies are growing and healthy. They said that baby B has a one strand placenta but he doing well and growing just fine at this time. We paid our first amount for the home study and our first payment to the attorneys. We still have quite a bit to go on paying things but we are greatly appreciative to all who have supported us through this journey.

  Home study and the start of attorney fees

  Hello everyone! So first off we want to say thank you so much for being our tribe and supporting us through this process. We are completely thankful for all of you. Anyways, the bills are starting pile in for us as we go about things. Our first fees are the home study fees which will be 2302 dollars for the first part. We will then pay at the end before out adoption hearing another 700 or so. We also got our first invoice for the attorney stuff. The total for it is... Read more$2000. These are our first two payments for now. I will continue to update on these invoices as we go. A little update on the babies as well. We went to our baby appointment for their anatomy scans last week. They are growing and healthy. We do have to monitor baby B a little more as his placenta only has one artery working properly and so it can cause complications, but as of now doctor says he is growing great and looks healthy and fine. So please keep us in your prayers for that as we want them both to be happy and healthy when they come into this world if possible. If for some reason he needs extra medical attention we do so, but we are praying that he continues to grow just fine. Thank you again for all your help and have a blessed week! -The Yochum Family

  Home Study and where we are right now!

  Hello everyone! So just a little update on what is going on our way. So we looked in to possibly remodeling a bit to make a room for Adam and I, and letting the twins have a room together. Well right now we aren't sure on if we can afford what we were quoted. So we are back on the drawing board on ideas of possibly smaller, or maybe not all the things we talked about with it and doing something else. Anyways, with that I talked to the guy from the organization for the home... Read morestudy and he said that we can measure, discuss, and go from there but we may be okay. So that made me feel better about all that. I have been working on filing out tons of papers so we can have them start the home study with us. We are also trying to raise money for the next part of the process, which is the legal fees. So if you can please share our story with others we would greatly appreciate it. In a couple weeks I should have new pics of the little peanuts to share as well! :) Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! We love and thank you all so much.
