We have BIG news! We are adopting a little girl from INDIA! We are beyond excited and are doing everything to prepare and welcome a beautiful baby into our home. As we are not yet matched and know her age but we are very expectant on our Lord’s good timing.

As lots of you know our story, we have been trying to grow our family for a while now and blessed by God with our two handsome boys (who both did not come easily). Kate being adopted from India, influenced our family’s decision on this country and continue to watch the Lord lead and work miracles opening doors towards this path. Adoption has been placed close on Matt and Kate’s heart throughout their 14 years of marriage.

As part of our adoption process, we have created a crowdfunding campaign for those that wish to consider supporting us through prayer and financial help. Adoption is an incredibly rewarding experience but can be overwhelming at the same time. It may surprise you to hear that international adoption-related costs can quickly total up to $50,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $40,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. AdoptTogether (Hoping Hearts Foundation) is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) so all donations are tax-deductible. All funds raised will go directly towards the cost of adoption, which includes:

• Adoption agency fees • Documentation and application fees • Home study costs • Legal fees • Foreign program fees • Travel expenses (going to India and bringing her here)

We are so thankful for your consideration in supporting our journey.     Registration with India Approved!

    February 23, 2026

    All - Thank you to everyone who has prayed along side us and supported our adoption journey. We are so thankful! Currently we are continuing to work with Children’s Home & Lutheran Social Services (CHLSS) through our adoption process. After months of awaiting approval within India's CARA (India’s Central Adoption Resource Authority), we received approval on January 2nd 2026.

    Currently here in February 2026 we are awaiting two specific requirements:
    (1) Awaiting approval with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) - this approval allows us to adopt a child internationally and bring the child into the United States.
    (2) Awaiting a Child referral from India that will lead to being matched!

    Registration with India Complete

    October 22, 2025

    All - Thank you to everyone who has prayed along side us and supported our adoption journey. We are so thankful! Currently we are continuing to work with Children’s Home & Lutheran Social Services (CHLSS) through our adoption process. After months of paperwork compiling and state approvals....this week on Oct. 22nd we got registered with India's CARA (India’s Central Adoption Resource Authority). This step is huge as it's the first step to work directly with India and their adoption system. We are so excited to work through this new chapter and continue to move onto the next phases.     Home Study Process Update

    April 9, 2025

    Currently we are working with Children’s Home & Lutheran Social Services (CHLSS) through our adoption process. Thank you to everyone who has prayed along side us and supported our adoption journey. We are so thankful! This week on April 10th we will be completing our last visit (3 of 3) for the home study visit process. We are so excited to work through this last step and move onto the next phase (begin connecting and working directly with India). Thank you again for all of the prayers and loving support!
