We have EXCITING news!! We are adopting!
We believe that adoption is such a beautiful picture of God's love for us. Even before getting married, we discussed our desire to adopt a baby, and for us it wasn't about "if", but "when". Our plans were to wait to adopt until after we had biological children, but we feel that God may have a different plan for us.
Through an infertility diagnosis, we have been patiently waiting and hoping every day for a little one that we can love and care for with every part of our beings. Our hearts have grown immensely over the years for foster care and adoption, and we feel now is the time to begin the process of welcoming a beautiful baby into our home.
The average cost of adoption is $45,000 in the U.S. and our goal is to raise $40,000 within the next year. We are praying for 200 people to donate $200 or more.
Would you consider joining us and being a part of our adoption journey?

Hello everyone! We have exciting news!! Thanks to the generosity of friends and family, we are ALMOST at our short term goal of reaching $6,000! Once we reach that, we can officially sign on with our adoption consultant, Jonnilyn, and prepare ourselves for a home study!! We are so grateful to be at this point in our adoption journey, and are grateful for everyone who has donated to our family thus far.
This has been a busy season of life for our family as many of you may know, and one of those things has been struggling with infertility. We have been trying for 14 months to get pregnant, and for many of you out there who have been through the same thing, that amount of time can feel like a lifetime. There have been numerous doctors appointments, dozens of blood draws, sonograms, and imaging done to determine the cause. But through it all, we knew we were being tugged towards adoption. So when we made that final decision to trust God and take the plunge into starting this daunting but incredible process, we didn't know what would be in store for us or how the fundraising process would go. But here we are, entering month two of fundraising, and already being so far along in our goal!
We hope to raise the full amount, and search for grants to help cover what we cannot raise, within one year. We are trusting in God for this money to be raised in a timely manner, and we need you all to help!
If you feel inclined to donate to our adoption, we would be so grateful. We are asking for 200 people to donate $200 or more.
Becoming parents is our biggest dream, and we are thankful for adoption to be a part of that story for us.
If any of you have questions, feel free to reach out because we'd love to chat!

Hello family and friends!
Today marks the start of week 4 of our adoption journey, and we are so grateful for God's provision, and for our friends and family who have donated to our fundraiser! We are at $2,700 so far, and cannot believe it! As the weeks go on, and as we get donations via check or cash, we will lower our overall goal of how much we need to raise. So although our goal on the website doesn't say $40,000, just know that it still is, but we want to accurately portray how much we have raised via other means of donation.
We are hoping to reach our smaller goal of around $5,500-$6,000 so we can officially sign on with the adoption consultant and get our home study done so we can start the process of being paired with a birth mom!
Throughout these last few weeks, we have learned a few things about ourselves and the adoption process, but really about God and His character. We know that God provides for us abundantly more than we could ask for and in ways we can't even begin to imagine. He is kind and faithful to us, and He loved us so much to give up His only son.
In light of this truth and adoption, we have grown in understanding that the individuals who give up their child for adoption must also feel the deep heartache and loss that God felt when he gave up Jesus. Adoption from the birth mother's end may be done for a number of reasons, but one of those truly is selflessness. And as we work through the adoption process, our hearts yearn for the mother and father and their desire to give their child a life of love and security.
We are grateful for the opportunity to one day welcome a child into our home and show them the unconditional love of Christ.
If any of you have an questions or want to talk about our adoption journey, feel free to message or call either of us! We would love to talk more about this, our infertility journey, or anything you may have questions about.
Thanks for reading!

Hi friends and family! We are so grateful for the donations and prayers and love we have received so far towards our adoption! We are at over $1300 so far, and we are hoping and praying to meet around $6000 so we can officially sign on with our consultant and conduct a home study so we can start the process of being matched with a momma <3
For donations, there have been a few questions we have received.
1) Where will the money go if we don't meet our goal?
The answer to that is we are adopting regardless of the amount we raise, however we are hoping and praying that we can meet our goal so we can be well prepared for the adoption and for baby Z!
2) Can we break up the donation?
Sure! If you want to donate around $17 a month for the next year, that will hit the goal of $200! I know $200 may seem like a lot up front, so by dividing it up monthly, it is much more attainable.
Sometimes it's awkward and hard to talk about financial situations, but we are grateful for any amount given and any prayer said for our future baby.
This is going to be a long road, and we are searching for grants to help us as well. But we know with the support of our friends and family and God we can reach our $40,000 goal!
Thank you everyone!

The Zemans
Hello everyone! 6/25/23 marks the start of our adoption journey. We made our official post and shared with family and friends! We are already SO grateful for the support you've shown us in just ONE day!
We weren't sure what to expect, but our hearts were blown away by everyone's kindness and generosity.
We spent today writing letters to family and friends which we will send out tomorrow. We are praying for hearts to be moved and for prayers to be answered with these letters.
As far as funding, once we have reached part of our goal we will officially sign on with Christian Adoption Consultants and complete the home study. We are hoping and praying that this can happen within the next month or so, so that we can start the process of creating a bio book and getting matched!
Thank you everyone!
