We have BIG news and are beyond excited….
We are adopting a child!
Some of you know our story, but for those that don't, here is a little bit about how we came to start this incredible journey.
We have been together for nearly 10 years and married for 6! We initially met while working together in retail. We had an extraordinary friendship that turned into a an even better love and we got married in 2016. When we decided it was time for us to start our family, adoption was always a potential part of that plan. We started the traditional way and were met with the heartbreaking news that it will not come naturally (needing IVF for infertility) and may even not happen. We decided that it won't stop us from having the family that we've dreamed of!
It may come as a surprise, but adoption costs can be upwards of $45,000. This includes agency fees, adoptive licensing, attorney fees, and much much more. We are humbly asking for your assistance in bringing home the newest addition to our little family. We plan to make updates regularly and we hope that it makes you feel a part of the process and the community that we plan to raise our child in.
We have officially completed phase one of our application process and will be waiting to hear back about our second round of applications!
Step one was a lot of general family information, our history, completing physicals, and information needed for background checks. The second stage is more fun where we get to tell more about ourselves and how we plan to raise our little one😊
