We are the Averett's and we are matched with TWINS!!!
Since getting married in 2013, there was never a question of if we would adopt, but rather when. We have one daughter who is 2 1/2 years old, and she has been a true blessing in preparing our hearts for this adoption journey. As we seek to be obedient to God&'s calling in our lives, we are constantly reminding ourselves of His perfect timing and provision. We are surrounded by other adoptive families who pray for us, encourage us, and offer us wisdom. Our wonderful families and friends are excited to see us welcome a baby boy and baby girl into our family!! We anticipate their arrival in December, 2017, or sooner.

Update on 1/3/18:
It is with great sadness but also great joy that we share the twins were born 11/29/17, with complications. Baby girl was in the NICU for the past month but is now discharged and doing well. Our hearts are broken to share that her brother did not make it and has been healed in Heaven with his Jesus. We are so thankful and blessed to have the opportunity to love them both. Baby Solomon will never be forgotten.
