Adoption has been on our hearts for several years and especially international adoption. In March of 2015, we began the process of adopting a child from South Korea with Dillon International. As we looked into different counties and their needs and requirements, we were drawn to the Korea program. Our family has been a friendship family to three South Korean students through local universities for several years and there is a small network of Korean adoptees in NWA. We knew that we&’d likely end up with three boys since the majority of Korean children in need of families are boys and we were excited for whatever child God would bring. We spent all summer in the home study process and were approved in August. During our process, we received a referral for a precious little boy who has since turned one! We are so thankful for his story and how God has chosen us to be his family and a part of his story. One family has generously offered to match up to $500 for the month of October! Would you consider helping our family fund some of our travel expenses? All donations are tax-deductible. If we can raise $500 this month, an additional $500 will be donated and will almost cover one ticket. We will be required to make two trips to Korea and the estimated expense is $10,000.
