After almost 4 years of trying to have a healthy pregnancy, in 2009 we began our adoption process. We were hoping to give the gift of a loving family to a child, while allowing our dream of becoming parents to come true. We put our adoption process on hold as we then became pregnant with our son, Travis (now 3 yrs. old). We had a feeling our journey wasn&'t over; but, didn&'t want to rush any decisions. We know the time is right now and are ready & so excited to complete our family through adoption. In 2011, we lost my Dad to cancer. He was an amazing man and I couldn&'t write this adoption profile without mentioning him. He guides me every day. He was Polish. When we found out that we could adopt from Poland, there was no other option in my mind. I knew it was the right thing, no, actually, the perfect thing to do. We are requesting a little girl to complete our family and can&'t wait to meet her. Travis is a smart, kind, funny little boy and will be an amazing big brother. Our little girl is already in our hearts and when we see her our lives & family will be complete.
