Dear Family and Friends, We still remember the day when God&’s call to adopt became real for us; it was the day we began praying for our prospective birth mother in April of 2013. We knew nothing about who she was or her life story, but we knew that God did. So, we&’ve been talking to Him about her ever since. We&’ve prayed for her health and protection and we&’ve asked that God would send people to support and encourage her along this journey. Now we want to invite you to join us with prayers of your own for her and for our new baby boy, Andrew Lamar Burleson. We believe that since the beginning of time God has invited humanity to be co-creators and caretakers of all life. What a unique blessing! While we have not been able to share in the gift of creating life, we are so excited to be blessed as caretakers of this new little life. We invite you to join us in the privilege that God has given all of us in becoming caretakers of creation. Thank you for your support through prayer, for joining us in making room for little Andrew, and for your consideration of a financial contribution towards our adoption. Even though, Andrew has now been placed with us, finalization has not yet occurred and there are still lawyer fees to be paid. Our lives are blessed because of the relationships we have with you and we can&’t wait for our child to share in this joy too!
