UPDATE: We are praying & hoping to reach our fundraising goal by the end of May! We are excited to announce the beginning of our puzzle fundraiser.
It works like this:
1. We had a 500-piece puzzle created of the family photo you see above.
2. Each puzzle piece represents $50 in our goal. You can choose 1, 2, 3, or 10! There is no limit!
3. To secure your piece, just donate right here at Adopt Together.
4. We will write your name on the back of your piece(s) and send you a picture.
5. Once every single piece has been claimed, we will put the puzzle together and hang it in a double-sided glass frame for the new baby's room so they can look back and be reminded of who had a “piece” in bringing them home!
We are the Byers family – Milam, Ashley, Gunnar, Remy, and Ryder-John. We live in Nashville, TN. We are so excited to be in the process of adopting! We have known for years that the Lord was calling our family to adopt. As a dating couple before we had biological children we knew that adoption would be part of our story. Fast forward through 13 years of marriage and having 3 biological boys, now is the time for our hearts and family to grow through adoption.
The Lord gave us these verses in the fall of 2016 and we knew then that it was time:
Isaiah 54:2-3
Enlarge the place of your tent,
and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back, lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes.
For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left,
and your offspring will possess the nations…
We believe in the sanctity of life and as followers of Christ we believe there is a call on all of us to be involved in the love and care of orphans and the support of birth parents. There are so many ways to do that! We would love to invite you all to be part of this process with us and help us bring our baby home. We ask that you would pray for our family. Pray for the birth mother who will choose us as the forever family for her child. Pray for our baby as he/she grows. Pray that the Lord would prepare our hearts to receive this new joy.
