To our dearest friends, family and new friends through extension, There are many of you who are near and dear to us that know what we have gone through, but to all the others, this is a brief open letter to you. For over 4 1/2 years, we have have been trying to have a baby. With one miscarriage in the the very beginning and countless appointments with fertility specialists, a procedure, the constant emotional ups and downs (Praise the Lord for my wonderfully supportive and nurturing husband!), fertility medications, etc…we grew tired of it all and were ready for something REAL rather than holding onto a chance. We have always considered adoption, and now as this story for us unfolds, we feel that this is the path that we are meant to be on. It feels so natural to us and we are beyond thrilled, excited and ready to give this baby the inexhaustible amount of love that we already have for him/her. Due to the nature and reality of expenses and fees that the adoption route requires, we kindly, lovingly and humbly ask for your help. If you are unable to help from a monetary standpoint, simply sharing this with your friends, family, church members, etc., via email or any social media platform would be just as much of a help and would be greatly appreciated. For those that are naturally curious about why adoption costs what it does (as we were too in the beginning), there is a lot involved. A lot of social work, legal fees, doctors appointments and all prenatal care for the birth mothers, transportation, etc. We know baby Covey is arriving in divine time and we can&'t wait to bring home our baby!
