Family & Friends, As many of you know, we are a family of 2. We live in North Florida currently and believe it to be a great place to live and raise a family. Ashley is from Winter Garden, FL and Jesse is our southern gentleman, from Augusta, GA. We have been married now for almost about a year and a half and are so excited about this journey God has us on right now. We are in the process of adopting a little boy from Uganda, which will make us a beautiful family of three. The process started in November 2013 where we joined our church&'s adoption support group, operation adoption. In April of last year, once we placed ourselves on the waitlist of our adoption agency, our journey really began and God began to move not only in our hearts, but in the hearts of others in Uganda as well. We were told we would be removed from the waitlist January or February of this year and heard from our Agency on February 4th. Already, we have completed our homestudy and have now received our referral for our child, a 7 year old named Fred. We are so excited to announce that this is our son that God has for our family. We learned of AdoptTogether through a book, Adopt without Debt by Julie Gumm. Several people have wanted to support our adoption, but we didn&'t know how those could get a tax credit for their contribution and also keep track of it all. We created this specifically for those who have asked how they can give and where to do so. We are so excited and already so blessed in this journey of how God is growing our family.
