We are the Fasnacht family. We have been married 37 years, and God has touched our hearts through adoption many times! We are blessed to have 2 married adult children, and a daughter we adopted from China in 2007! In addition to our children, we have 10 lovely grandchildren, of which 5 have been adopted! We felt God's call for us to adopt as we were approaching the "empty nest" stage of our life. It was scary at the time, but we are so pleased, and thankful that we followed our Lord's leading to bring our baby girl home! Now almost 10 years later, God is again calling us to adopt another girl from China!! She is a sweetheart the same age as our Caylei Hope! We are once again feeling a bit anxious about this process and journey but are feeling the need to be obedient to our faithful Father's direction and leading. He has provided reassurance for us that we are on the right path! We have had many confirmations, and God has already moved some mountains to show us that we are doing His will! We have completed the task of assembling our dossier, and are awaiting it to be sent to China. Our goal, and hope is that we will be able to travel mid-Summer (July or Aug.) 2017 and bring Leia home before the new school year begins! One area of concern is of course the financial aspect of adoption! But we believe that God has a plan and desire for us to continue on and that the need WILL be met! God's heart is a heart of love for the orphan! He showed us His deep love for us when He sent His only Son to give us an opportunity to be adopted into His family! We are all orphans, but He paid the cost to adopt us! And we believe by His divine grace we will have the resources needed to meet the cost requirements to adopt our new daughter into our family!
