We're the Fried family, and we're adopting again! Adoption has been on our hearts from very early on in our marriage, but for the first 12 years we had little hope that we'd ever be able to adopt. Many of you walked with us on the miraculous journey of loss and joy to bring our second daughter home (thank you), and now God is opening the doors again…
We believe that our Heavenly Father is father to the fatherless and our concern for kids without families is an extension of His love working in our hearts. In the time since bringing #2 home we've been involved in various ways showing love to the little ones in our local children's home, including fostering. But last spring we sensed him leading us to adopt again.
We've been officially matched with "E", a just-turned-three-year-old (& birthday buddies with our oldest!) from eastern China. We're hoping to bring her home in late June or early July. Thank you for your gifts and prayers; there's no way this would be possible without the love and support of God's extended family!
