Our family currently lives in Mazatlan, Mexico, serving with an international Christian non-profit organization called Back2Back Ministries. Our time with Back2Back has deepened our love for the fatherless and strengthened the call to care for an orphan child through adoption. The Lord has long burdened our hearts for adoption, even before we had our biological children, and we're excited to finally begin the process. We spent several months pursuing adoption within Mexico, which would be most logical, but soon realized the Lord was leading us to adopt from Nicaragua. Almost any other country requires a shorter in-country stay than Nicaragua (3-6 months), but this does not deter us. We know our child is waiting there. While we do not always feel equipped to answer this call to adopt, we say Yes to the Lord with our mustard seed of faith – expectant. We would be so grateful for you to share in this adoption journey with our family. We have experienced the Lord's provision over and over again while living in Mexico and look forward to seeing how He will provide for this child. We are confident that, because He has asked us to pursue adoption, He will provide the funds necessary to bring a child to our home and family. We can't do this alone. We believe the Lord has already chosen those who will come alongside us. We see an empty crib in Nicaragua and celebrate a family made whole when we bring our fourth child home.
