Hi there! Thanks for visiting our website. We are Jeff and Joy Kramer, and have been married for ten years. We have three children- ages 8,6, and 4 Jeff is a pastor at Watermark Community Church in Dallas, Texas and Joy works as a Licensed Professional Counselor. We love the outdoors- camping, cycling, hiking, adventuring…and speaking of adventures :-).. We have prayed about adopting for many years and talked about it throughout our marriage. Joy has had the privilege of working with adoptive and foster families for the past twelve years as a professional. She has seen many families woven together through adoption. Jeff has had opportunities to travel on many mission trips overseas and especially has a heart for Africa. After 3 biological kids, we still have room in our hearts for one more. After much prayer and discussion we feel that God has called us to adopt from DR Congo. We received our referral for our daughter in 2012 and in 2013, Claire became part of our family. We were set to bring her home at the end of 2013, but the Congolese government suspended issuing exit letters. That means that although she is legally part of our family, she is not being allowed to leave her country to come home to us. Joy was able to travel to meet Claire in 2014. Leaving her was incredibly hard. We have depleted our funds and are in need to raise more to cover her monthly medical and living expenses and for our trip to bring her HOME.
