About 4 years ago we made the decision to begin our family but the road has been filled with a few bumps along the way, so in July 2012 we officially began the journey through adoption. In the fall of 2013 we finally received the call! a little girl in central Africa was in need of a forever family and we said YES! Just days after accepting her referral we would learn that the road to get her home was going to be much longer then we ever imagined. The months continue to pass and we must watch our daughter grow up through photographs and videos and fall more in love with her as each day goes by. With each month we must cover the expenses for all of our daughters care while she waits in Africa, at the same time we must also save up the needed funds for travel to bring her home. While we wait for our daughter in Africa to come home, we are excited to share that we are also waiting to be matched with 1-2 siblings through domestic adoption. We are excited to partner with Adopt Together in raising the final funds and hope you will consider being a part of our journey.
