We are adopting a child!
We met Theodore's birth Mom December 2018 and helped her through the last two months of her pregnancy. We got connected through another family we know that has Theodore's half-sister. Theodore and his half-sister Summer are only 15 minutes away from each other and see each other routinely. Theodore is an absolute blessing. Theodore means "God's Gift" in greek. The name came to us just days before Thanksgiving and then a few days later we found out about the possibility to adopt a boy in February.
Theodore is doing great! He is crawling, babbling and eating a lot. He loves to play cars with his brother, read books and pull on the hair of his three Newfoundland dogs who love him very much.
This has been a challenging and educational process. The adoption community has been phenomenal with all the help and support.
