We have longed for a child for several years. As we get older we try not to lose hope and instead rest in God's perfect plan. We have an incredible comforting God, and have a huge support through dear people like you. We feel blessed and have truly learned so much through this process of waiting(pages upon pages worth :)). We love the idea of adoption! We are adopted in to God's family(making adoption even more cool), Pete's mom was adopted and his sister and her husband are adopting(making it more meaningful). Another reason why we are excited about adoption is because for many years I (Jenn) have helped raise multiple children mainly through nannying and then the last two years with Pete through our home daycare. We have seen how we are SO capable of loving children who are not our own(and to think how much MORE our love will be when a baby becomes our own). Although we were always open to adoption, we obviously never knew till recently, that is the road God would send us. So financially we were not prepared whatsoever.
