We began our journey to become parents seven years ago. During that time we went through 4 failed IUI and one failed IVF. At this time we were also battling pre-cervical cancer. With each surgery to remove the pre-cancer part of our hope of becoming parents was being removed. After our failed IVF we looked into adoption. Caleb had met an older man who was adopted at the age of seven from Honduras. Caleb knew this was a sign from God. We couldn&'t find an agency that worked both in Honduras and Missouri, but after weeks of trying we found Buckner. We have been working with Buckner for four years to bring our son home from Honduras. During our wait for our son we had a biological son named Isaac. Our sons are three months apart. Most of our expenses will come on our second trip. We will need at least four plane tickets. Caleb might fly back to work a few weeks (make that five plane tickets). Kellie will not be paid for six weeks of her leave. We have found a great deal on a hotel. We can rent a two bedroom with a kitchen for $1500 a month. Our trip will last anywhere from 4-6 weeks.
