Hi there, we are Tyler and Amber Rust. We have 4 beautiful biological children and we are so excited to finally announce we are in the process of adopting a sibling group of three Katimu (12), Massah (6), and Ibrahim (2) from Sierra Leone, Africa. This has been and continues to be a journey of faith. We have known that we wanted to adopt for about 4 years but never would have envisioned this journey to be filled with so many intimate moments of clarity from God. He has so gently and lovingly guided us to these beautiful children. Amber traveled to Sierra Leone in June of 2012 with The Raining Season organization. It was an amazing life changing trip. She fell in love with the people and country of Sierra Leone. Upon returning the U.S. Amber had a fire in her heart to do more. We knew we had a responsibility to care for orphans and the vulnerable. We were just waiting for God to show us what He wanted us to do. At the end of 2012, God placed three children on our hearts after seeing their pictures and learning their story. We prayed for them daily for almost a year. In September 2013, Tyler had the opportunity to travel to Sierra Leone to meet the children. God made it clear during his visit that these were to be our children. Upon his return home we began the adoption process. We are so excited to bring our kids home! We are very thankful to all who have expressed their love and support! We ask for your prayers.
