Update (4/17/16): 1 year ago we were matched with a little boy who was 6. We just received our referral dated March 31, 2016! We plan to travel mid-May when we will meet him for the first time! "It's not so much that we need more kids… Really, more kids need families - and our family has room for more." We borrowed this quote from another family adopting and it couldn't be more true!!! Our motive and desire to adopt goes beyond simply wanting to add another to the fold. After nearly seven years of feeling led to minister to the needs of orphans, it became clear to us that God would have us adopt. Right now there is a young boy, age 3-6 living in undesirable conditions in Haiti. We plan to name him Louis and love him, hug and squeeze him and bring him home to a loving forever family. Stella (10), Lilly (8), Ruby (7) and Max (6) are thrilled to welcome a little brother into the family! We want to do this debt free… While we are financially able to care for the day to day expenses of another child, we do not have an extra $30k to cover the remaining fees of the adoption.
