dear friends, adoption is beautiful and redemptive, and it is also messy and risky… and it does not always turn out in the end like it looked at the begninng. leia&'s adoption was a beautiful mess… and although there were twists and turns, in the end, it worked out that we brought her home. this time, the story with her sister, has a different ending, and her sister is not joining our family. and while i cannot share details, i can say that we have loved and prayed for her with all of our hearts, and we will continue to do so. we would love if you would continue to do so, as well. if you have supported us, please know that we are so grateful, and that in part because of you, our adoption fees are nearly paid in full. the agency who we have worked with for both adoption processes has been amazing. they are always in need of adoptive families for special situations, and they have asked if once our family has had space to heal, we will accept placement of another special child. and because family and adoption are our passions, we have said yes. they have offered to transfer all of our funds to another adoption at that time. those of you know how costly adoption is, know just what a gift this is. so sometime soon, once the time is right, you can hope to see another little Sell. we are are grateful for your prayers during this time. many thanks and much love, joel and vanessa
