We feel we have received a PhD. in "The Art of Patience". This adoption has been 5 years in the making. There were times we did not know if this adoption would happen, we often felt discouraged by the long wait. Thank God for His perfect timing! November 28, 2011 we received our match, little Autumn ShunHong Woods. We are already so in love with her and can&'t wait to bring her home. As we wait on immigration approval, we ask for your prayers for her continued safety, and for peace in our hearts as we wait. Neither Jeff nor I like the idea of asking for money. It is humbling to say the least. Bottom line the cost of adoption is high and we need your help. We have already paid for many of the fees, but much is still needed; travel expenses, orphanage and post adoption placement fees in particular. It is overwhelming.
