We are growing our family and adopting a child!!!! Our hearts are growing as we speak.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. Nursery preparations have begun, prayers are being said constantly, and this expectant mama who will sacrifice so much is on our hearts every moment of the day.
Ah yes, the fundraising part.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This includes medical care, legal fees, consultancy fees, paperwork, clearance and more.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, our story, that you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
The Lord has known our heartaches, our lives, our family as it has built from the beginning. His Divine Presence knows the child who is to join our family. This child will be the love of our lives.
Please hear our hearts. This story is not about us, the gift is this sweet child who we cannot wait to meet and hold space for in our hearts as he/she grows.
We will have two primary fundraisers- Our T- Shirt Fundraiser via Bonfire and our Missing Piece Puzzle Fundraiser.
