Thank you for being here! We have felt led clearly to build our family through adoption; and we couldn't be filled with more joy and sweet anticipation.
As we look at the household of God, we see that we are all adopted into his family as sons and daughters: a beautiful diverse family of all different backgrounds, nations, colors, tribes, and tongues. Carolyn and I are overwhelmed by the love of God in our lives & trust that He is in complete control of our story. We know from faith & experience that He is the best author. That truth gives us great hope, confidence and peace.
We were encouraged by sweet friends to create a space that would allow our community to enter into this story financially. We have felt convicted that even though it feels uncomfortable to receive financial gifts, our people want to tangibly help and walk alongside us in this season. Know that every cent matters to us. It matters concretely as we look at the high cost of adoption, but most of all, it genuinely moves us that you would feel passionately enough about adoption and our family to donate financially. We know that's not easy or flippant and we know often times that it comes with a sacrifice for you or your family. Our words of gratitude will always fall short.
We are humbled and grateful for all of the love and support we have received from our sweet friends and families from the very beginning. Your encouragement, love, generosity, wisdom and prayers have kept us going through this challenging process. We can't wait to introduce our child to you and speak of how your deep love and care is a picture of the Lord's extravagant love for His people.
