Shaye Thornton

Hi There! We are Bjorn and Shaye Thornton, and we have been married for seven years. Through that time, we have struggled with infertility, but we always believe that God brings abundant blessing out of suffering and trials. What was once a source of despair turned in to a new outlook on the plan God has for our lives together. He changed our hearts completely once we fully surrendered our own plans of biological children to Him. God still wants us to have a family. He just wants us to understand His heart on a greater plane through adoption. After all, we were adopted and grafted in to God&’s family (Romans 8:14-16) once we accepted the gift of Jesus. To this end, Bjorn and I felt confidently led in the direction of adoption. We want to use our situation to bless others, and we hope to give a child (or children) a loving and healthy life, home, and family. We are excited and hopeful, and look forward to this journey. Bjorn and I are both high school teachers and coaches, and unfortunately our budget falls short of funding the entire adoption on our own. Please consider supporting us on this journey.
