are adopting a child from Ukraine

We are excited to share our journey with you. Most know that as a military family we have spent the last 20 years serving our country. I guess you could say our journey began there as we have traveled the world and moved 15 times but our adoption journey began in December of 2010 when we began praying as a family (of 4) that God would take us outside of our comfort zone. In December of 2011 He impressed upon our hearts to host through New Horizons for Children. We began our adoption journey in January and were traveling to Ukraine by July. We arrived home with our son Jonathan (now 14) on September 11, 2012. He is doing so well and many do not realize he is adopted. Our neighbors in WY hosted during the summer and winter of 2013. We met the 2 beautiful girls they hosted and spent a lot of time with them. Our daughter asked us one day, "Mom and Dad, if our neighbors don't adopt them, can we?" We told her we would pray about it and the more we prayed the more God impressed upon our hearts this desire and His will. We talked to our neighbors and they were thrilled. We then hosted the girls summer of 2014 for 2 months. We traveled to Ukraine to sign documents for the oldest before she turned 18 in January. From the beginning, their adoption seemed an impossible task (b/c of her age) but with God, all things are possible. In Ukraine, more than any other Eastern European country, girls that "age out" of the orphanage are trafficked abroad and forced into prostitution. Please help us bring our precious girls home. Our dossier has been submitted and is being translated now. We should travel in April. Any donation amount is appreciated. Thank you.
