We are the Tiptons! We are a family of four with a heart for Latin America. When we began this adoption journey back in 2011, we planned to apply to adopt a baby or two very young siblings from Colombia. But after a major change in our agency&'s Colombia program, and also after an amazing missions trip to Central America, we knew that God was calling us to adopt from Central, and not South America. When we were on our missions trip, we fell in love with so many older children, and God began to change our hearts about our adoption plan. We asked God what He wanted us to do, and He broke our hearts for an older sibling group of 3 from Costa Rica! In August, we were officially matched with the 3 children we have been hoping and praying for for the past 10 months: 2 boys and a girl, ages 3, 8 and 10! So we are on our way to becoming a family of 7 very soon!!
