We’re Adopting!

A little less than a year ago we started the adoption process. We always knew we want to grow our family and now’s the time! We completed our home study a few months ago. During the process we learned that it could take any where from a few months to a couple of years. But we had a beautiful, not unheard of, but uncommon opportunity. We received a phone call from out adoption agency asking if we would like to be presented to a birth mother, who is dealing with some hard life challenges. She had already given birth a few days prior. Of course we said yes! And an hour later we heard that we were matched. We were elated! We got to meet birth mom and baby the next day at the hospital. She chose us! And the next day after that we were picking up our son to bring him home!

With everything happening way faster then we anticipated, less than a week, we hadn’t had a chance to apply for adoption grants to help us with the financial burden that comes with adopting. Adopting costs can range $35,000 and more! Ours is coming in around $45,000 which is the fundraising goal we have set. We humbly ask for any support and donations you could give. It would truly mean the world to us! We so look forward to our new life with our baby boy! And with your generosity it would allow us to put our full attention into giving this baby boy the best life possible.
