We have BIG news!

We are adopting a child!

As many of you know, we hosted a little girl with Downs Syndrome this past Christmas. Needless to say her time with us, with friends and our extended family was the best gift we have ever received. She was immediately in the mix of things as though she had always been with us. When she left her presence was deeply missed.

After much prayer and support from friends and family, we believe we are called to pursue adopting her to bring her home. When we committed to this little girl we were encouraged by the response and support from friends, family and acquaintances when they would hear of our hosting story. It seemed almost everyone we talked with agreed that God’s hand was leading this journey and things would come together according to His Will.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful little girl into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000.00 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000.00 to help ease the financial burden of the adoption. Any donation you may be called to give is tax deductible.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.
