We are excited to share with you our journey to adopt a child from China!
For our family, the journey began a few years ago, with God placing adoption in our hearts through many small steps. These included: reading real-life stories about adoption, seeing friends walk through foster care/adoption, and attending an orphan care summit in Chicago. We see adoption as a way to provide a home for a child in need, and who wouldn't want to be a part of that?
We believe that bringing our little one home from China requires more than loads of paperwork on our part. It also takes a community of supporters around us. We can't wait to introduce this newest member of our family to all the friends and family who helped bring him/her home.
Our fundraiser through AdoptTogether is ONE way you can be a part of this effort. You can also buy coffee from us (it's pretty tasty!), or watch our kids while we do paperwork, or pray for us, or just ask us how's it going. Also, we would appreciate your willingness to share this with others who may want to participate.
