We have BIG news!
We are in the final stages of the process of adopting our little man! We are beyond excited and even though our little guy has been with us for over 5 years, we would like to make things official.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we are asking for help to ease this financial burden.
Because we were unable to have children of our own, our little man was and will always be a sweet blessing to us. He came to us in need of a family to love him, and we are so happy we were able to do that. Over the last 5 years, our little guy has given us hope and ability to get through a lot of tough times, including many of Darrin’s difficulties with adjusting from soldier to civilian life. They are best of friends and love each other so very much. As most of you know, Darrin is a Disabled Veteran and Jennifer has been working hard to take care of him, the little guy and his two step brothers.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he continues to grow up.
