#### #### Why Adoption?
When we considered having a family, we prayed about pursuing adoption as the first-choice option to become parents. We want our child to know that they were chosen first and foremost. We feel called to adoption and believe that God has confirmed this as the right path for our family. We are adopting an infant, age 0-3 months through Amazing Grace Adoptions.
Even though we don't know who our child will be, we love them already and are beyond excited to bring them home. In the same way the Bible says that we are adopted into God's family, our desire is for adoption to be a core value in our family. Domestic adoption carries a substantial cost (the estimate is $30,000 from our agency, and the average is $40,000 nationwide), and we hope to raise a significant portion of that amount. This fee estimate includes services like mandatory background checks and clearances, adoption training, home study preparation, consultation, and writing, legal fees, and birthparent services and counseling (to both the birthparents of our future child and birthparents served by the agency that may choose not to make an adoption placement). We are so appreciative of anything you feel led to give, but we are even more grateful for your prayers and encouragement through this journey.
#### #### Puzzle Piece Fundraiser
#### Every person who donates to our family's adoption becomes a part of our child's story; a piece of our family's puzzle. We have created a 520 piece puzzle and are selling each piece for $25 each. You can purchase 1 piece or 100 pieces - we will be SO grateful for any amount you can give! Your name will be written on the back of each puzzle piece you purchase.
After the puzzle is complete and all pieces are sold, we will frame the puzzle between two pieces of glass and hang it in our child's room. This will be a beautiful keepsake to remember each person that helped bring the newest member of our family home!
