We are the Vander Veen family, we have two biological children and are beyond excited that God has called us to adopt.
We never thought this we would be our path, when we got married 6 years ago we wanted to try to have children right away. After being told having children would be difficult for Vanessa we soon learned how in control God is. Fast forward and here we are with two children and going through an international adoption that wasn't even on our radar.
After meeting another adoptive family at church, quickly becoming friends, Vanessa couldn't help but feel the pull for adoption start to quickly tug at her heart. Several months went by and she finally approached her husband Ron, shocked to say the least we decided to wait and pray on it. When God revealed His path for us it was loud and clear, we jumped in with both feet and haven't looked back.
We can not wait to have our little one in our arms, it has been an amazing adventure thus far. To feel love for a child we know nothing about and yet we are ready to cross oceans and moves mountains. We are so blessed to be eagerly waiting for BabyV.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign, along with many other fundraisers, garage sales, and other ways to raise funds to complete this process.
