We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we working with AdoptTogether with a goal to raise $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
Here are a list of future expenses:
Home Study Fee: $1,600
Admittance Fee & Birth Mother Fees: $10,000
Placement Fee: $22,075
In addition to fundraising we have been working overtime, launching a business, and taking on side gigs. Once we have a finalized home study we are planning to apply for adoption grants in addition to our fundraising efforts.
Our prayer is that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
