We have BIG news! We are adopting!

We are beyond excited to welcome a precious new life into our home. Adoption is something we discussed very early in our marriage. After years of infertility, unsuccessful treatments, heartache, and prayer we are confident that God is leading us to adopt at this time. Though there is pain and loss involved, we believe adoption is a great way to build a family and a beautiful reflection of the gospel.

Our estimated costs to adopt an infant or young child from the United States are $40,000-$50,000. This includes home study fees, background checks, legal costs, birth mother expenses, agency/consultant fees, etc. To help ease the financial burden of this process, we have started a fundraising campaign. We are very blessed and in no way want anyone to feel obligated to give. However, if you do feel led to contribute, we would be extremely grateful!

We have ordered a large puzzle for Baby Ward’s nursery. Anyone who donates to our adoption will have their name written on the back of a puzzle piece. Once the puzzle is complete, we will frame it between two pieces of glass and hang it in the nursery. Our sweet little one will always know how loved he or she is by not only us but also our amazing family and friends!

Jeremy and Katie live in North Carolina. They are active members of the Summit Church. They currently lead a small group and have served in children’s ministry. Katie works at a local school as a pediatric occupational therapist. Jeremy works from home as a software developer. They have two pets, a chocolate lab and a cat. Jeremy’s favorite hobby is mountain biking. Katie loves to craft. Together they enjoy hiking, camping, snowboarding, kayaking, cooking, and traveling. They are so excited to grow their family through adoption!
