Scott Ward

is adopting a child from Korea (Republic of)

My wife and I have been talking about and praying about adoption for years. Our family recently served in Tanzania, East Africa, as missionaries for three years, and that put an adoption on hold. I am now a Mission Pastor on staff at Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and we are at the point in our life where we are ready to adopt. We have three biological children (Luke 17, Brennan 14, and Joshua 7), and they are constantly praying for their little brother. ***UPDATE - We have been granted a court date!!! Our court date is July 9, and so we will be heading to South Korea on July 4th. We have been told that assuming all goes well with the court date, we will be able to travel back to South Korea to get our little boy sometime in August. We are certainly praising God for this news after 3 years in the process. Here's a blog post that gives more details of our story… http://godcall.net/2013/08/26/adoption-south-korea/ Here's a post called "Why Adopt" that I put on my blog… http://godcall.net/2012/11/09/why-adopt/
