Our Baby Girl is Coming!
After almost five years of trying to start a family, our wait is over! We have been matched with an expecting mom due March 26. Tim and I are so excited to bring home our daughter, Clara Rose Nanette. We are raising our final bit of money for the agency fee, follow-up visits with the social worker, and our attorney fee. Thank you to everyone who has surrounded us in hope, love, and prayer. It’s finally happening!!!

We are adopting a child!
Our journey to start a family hasn't been a traditional one. The past two years have been filled with a series of blood tests, ultrasounds, surgeries, shots, hormones (so many hormones!), and countless peaks of hope and valleys of despair. After our sixth failed fertility treatment and after serious reflection, prayer, and discussions with friends who recently adopted… we realized this has been God's plan for our us all along.
It was thanks to the anonymous and extremely generous donation we received in August of 2019 that we were able to start moving forward. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily cost between $35,000 - $50,000. Finances are the number one reason so many wonderful parents are never matched with deserving and equally wonderful children.
We recognize we are blessed to have the foundation to begin and that donation paid off our outstanding fertility bills, our sign-up fees with our two agencies, and all costs associated with our home study. But we still have a long way to go. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that right now seems so overwhelming. We know God is in control and He will provide.
