We are so excited to share the news that we are adopting! Our journey to adoption has included many trials but also many blessings along the way. We have been married for over 5 years and throughout our marriage, we have struggled with infertility. Mary is diagnosed with endometriosis and has undergone 2 surgeries to remove the endometriosis. After the surgeries, we were hopeful to get pregnant but after multiple years of ultrasounds, medications and injections, we decided to take a break and discern the Lord’s will for us and our future children. He has made it very clear to us that adoption is the route we are meant to take to have a child (for right now-who knows what He has planned later!). We have chosen Quiver Full Adoptions as our agency and are currently on a waitlist to become active clients. This journey is going to take us outside of our comfort zone but we have discovered that this has not been planned by us-all of it has been God’s plan and we are along for the ride! We have had such strong support from our family and friends throughout this process and we are constantly humbled by the people who have let us know they are praying for us. We look forward to taking this journey with all of you!
Adoption is expensive and the average cost for a domestic adoption is $40,000. With this in mind, our goal is to raise $20,000. These funds will go towards our agency expenses, legal fees, and home study expenses to name a few things. We are so appreciative for anything you can give!
