We have always wanted to be parents. When we were married almost eight years ago, we dreamed of what our future children would be like and all of the adventures we would experience with them. After many tests, doctor visits, and prayers, we were left with few answers as to why we were unable to conceive. So we prayed more and realized that our road to parenthood would involve adoption. This realization was a blessing and gave both of us peace after so much frustration and disappointment.
We are so happy to share that we have been chosen by an amazing birth mother! Our sweet boy is due August 15th! We know that God's timing is perfect and this precious boy was always meant to be our son. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into his new home!
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $5,000 to help ease the financial burden that can by a little overwhelming.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he grows up.
