Here we go! I'm not sure that we really anticipated going down this road again but the Lord has been calling, oh so gently calling us.
My wife Claudia and I have been married for 22 years. She is originally from Colombia who moved to the US in 1999. I was born and raised in Minnesota but have done my share of traveling.
Both of our children, Mariana (12) & Santiago (8) are adopted. Both children we received when they were 11-months old which was really special as we got to spend their first birthdays with them. Both my children were adopted from Pereira, Colombia, which coincidently is the city my wife considers home. It is also the city she attended college and where her parents currently live. We try to visit Colombia once per year which has proven to be awesome and educational for my children.
We understand that this next adoption will be different. We are looking at the possibility of siblings who will be older of course. I am confident that with the love that pours out from our household, that our future children will quickly embrace us all as we move ahead as a family together. Any extra prayers that you may have in you, feel free to send them the direction of the Chase family.
