We have always thought about adopting at some point in our lives. Our plan was to have a couple biological children and then adopt a few years later. During our time living in Germany, Kelsey went through six months of basic fertility treatments. From a medical stand point the medication worked, however we still were unable to conceive a child. We now know that God had a different plan, that we were meant to adopt at this point in our lives, and are SO EXCITED to be on this journey! We have signed with a North Carolina adoption agency and are eagerly awaiting to be matched.
We are sincerely appreciative of the kind words of encouragement and support that we have received so far in this process. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 12,000 to help ease the financial burden. We have been saving as much as we can for this adoption, but would appreciate any financial help that you can provide. Additionally, your prayers and continued encouragement are always welcomed as we continue this process. It’s been uplifting to know that we have such a great community supporting us.
