We are adopting again!
A unique opportunity was brought to us - the chance to adopt Tammy's favorite student from the orphanage where she volunteers as an art teacher. His photo has been on our fridge for three years and we have prayed for him daily - we had no idea God was going to use our family to answer our own prayers. We are beyond excited to have the chance to have him join our family and we are doing everything we can to complete his adoption before his 14th birthday in February. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help bring our child home. We are unable to do this alone and would appreciate your prayers and support if you feel so led.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the miracle that God has planned for this special child.
UPDATE: We have been given an adoption grant by Brittany’s Hope. If we can raise $5000 to help Brittany’s Hope offer future adoption grants to families, Brittany’s Hope will give us a $10,000 grant. We are excited.

The phrase "It takes a village to raise a child" takes on new meaning as the "seeds" of the adoptive family's friends, family, and neighbors take root and help provide families with adoption grants. With a gift to Brittany's Hope, a donor's monetary support of the Adoption Grant Program means double for the adoptive family.
