We have BIG news!
We are adopting a baby girl! And we just got MATCHED!!!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As we move forward in our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign.
It may surprise you to hear that our adoption related costs for this adoption will total around $55,000 or more. Our community has been extremely generous and already funded over $20,000 through various fundraisers! This is why we have set a goal of $20,100 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.
Important Info: We did receive a phone call that we were chosen by a birth mom who is located in California and due in June! We are thrilled and excited to move forward with this adoption opportunity! However, due to the legal fees and living expenses in California being higher that we expected, we are needing more funding than we had originally planned!
SO - we are going to give you an opportunity to Adopt a Box!!
How this works: We have 200 boxes. Each box represents numbers 1-200. You can adopt a box by donating the number amount connected to that box. For instance, if you select box #45 then you would donate $45. Feel free to pick as many boxes as you'd like! If you want to specify which number, you can put it in the comments when you donate. Otherwise, we'll just cross off the box matching your donation amount.
If all the boxes get adopted then we will have raised over $20,000!!! And will help us bring our baby girl home!!
