We put our application in at Bethany Christian Services in November . This began our adoption journey. It has been a long journey so far and we are now headed full force into the next steps. We are excited to get our boy home and into our arms.

How you can help?

First and foremost, we need your prayers! Prayers for enduring through piles of paperwork and prayers for patience while waiting for the baby that God has hand-picked for us.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. The cost of adoption is very high. If you are able, please make a donation to ease the financial burden we will be facing as we progress along this adoption journey. We wholeheartedly hope that you will see yourself as part of the support community helping us create a loving environment our child will be experiencing when we bring them home.

The total cost of our adoption will be close to $40,000
The breakdown is as follows:

• Opening fees, formal application, paperwork processing & Bethany Global fees: $3,250
• Home study documentation, completion & associated fees: $4,500
• China program fees, US adoption expenses & fees: $6,500
• Dossier creation/processing, authentication & translation services: $4,750
• Country & consultant fees, referral processing (this is where we find out the “who”.): $2,750
• Culture/language training, placement fees, passports/travel visas & courier fees (this is where we find out the “when”.): $4,250
• Mandatory 2 week travel to China. Transportation, food and lodging (this is when we go to bring our baby home!): $12,500
