Adoption has always been a matter of "when" for our family rather than "if". In 2012, when Jason and I realized that conceiving a child would be difficult, we knew that God was calling us to begin the adoption process. We decided to adopt from our country in Africa because of the staggering number of orphans and the great poverty. We hope that this adoption will be one way that we unite our family with the hurting in Africa. Two years ago, we received our referral of two beautiful girls, Glory (4) & Addie (3). We are anxious to have them home, but it has been a long, difficult journey with many more bumps in the road than we ever anticipated. We have been blessed by our community & have already raised over $50K, but still need $15K more for our final agency fees to complete our adoption and an additional $10-12k for traveling to Africa. We trust that God will continue to provide for us because we know that He desires to give families to the fatherless. Would you prayerfully consider financially supporting our adoption and be a part of providing a family to the fatherless? To follow our adoption story, visit Sarah&'s blog at www.sarahamelia.net
