Hi! We are the McKown Family. We have been blessed with two little boys who are truly wonderful. We had spoken about adoption, but didn&'t think that we would be called to do this. Since that time we have wanted and prayed and prayed for more children, biological children. And still, God has shown us that this is not His plan for us. After 5 years of treatments, injections, testing, IUIs resulting in failure, and lots and lots of tears…… adoption came up again!! We felt God calling us to expand our family through adoption. After a lot of praying, we felt God literally pushing us toward China!! The more we tried to push it away the more it was God that spoke so loudly, there was nothing else we could hear. He was continually showing us China.. Opening our eyes and our hearts to the many, many orphans that needed someone, that needed us!!! We are so grateful that He has broken our hearts for what breaks His! We feel so blessed that He has chosen us to go on this journey!!! The journey that will lead us to our daughter and sister (Mei Mei) in China!! We can&'t wait to bring her home to her FOREVER FAMILY!!!!! And that she will be ONE LESS ORPHAN!!!!
