As most you probably know, we have been living in China for the past 8 months. While we knew that this would be a great adventure and a time that our family would never forget, we came to the other side of the world knowing that there was a greater purpose for us being here… we just had no idea what that was. So we came in faith, knowing that God would use us if we were willing to drop everything to respond to Him. We&'ve come to realize that XiaoQing is a part of His plan for our family. Though there may be many reason that we were brought here, we know that she is one of them. Many of you know the story of how we came to know XiaoQing, and if you don&'t, just keep looking through this webpage and you&'ll find it amongst our other posts. We find it incredible the way that He has matched us with her beyond a shadow of doubt. It has become more and more clear, through His guidance and the confirmation of others, that this sweet child will be a part of the McMaster family. We are excited for the day when she will come and be with us, and she&'s SUPER excited to come be with us too. And now is the part where we ask you to join us in this adventure. Not everyone is called to adopt an orphan, but we can all have a hand in seeing this child will not be a part of the sobering statistics that orphans face. The financial cost of adoption is high, but the cost of leaving her without a family is beyond calculation.
