is adopting a child from United States of America

YAY!!! We have BIG news for our little family!!!

Although the journey has been long, we have just begun! We are so thankful to the Lord for this opportunity to adopt!

Our hearts are filled with much joy and excitement! We have fallen more in love with the God who chose us to be His children and adopted us into His forever family, and at great cost. One of the reasons we love adoption is its beautiful display of our Heavenly Father’s unconditional love for us! We know and experience His love through Jesus, who gave up all that he had to make us sons and daughters of God. We are eager to share this love and honor with our children! What a delight it is to know and see God more fully as we join Him in adopting children into our family.

We have decided to adopt a cross-cultural child, and are looking forward to being a multicultural family. As a wise, biblical teacher once said, "In adopting a [cross-cultural] child we would embrace and affirm the value of personhood in God's image above racial distinctive." We celebrate this value along with our child's racial and cultural background by recognizing the preciousness of life in the image of God and the glory of being welcomed into His eternal family.

To welcome this sweet little one into our home, we are doing everything we can to be prepared. As a part of the adoption process, we have started a funding campaign! It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily amount to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that is often overwhelming to adoptive parents.

In saying that, we trust God to be faithful every step of the way! We are so grateful to be surrounded by such a supportive community , and to have a family of believers that care deeply about the things of God :) Praise Him! What a gift this is.

We love you all, and hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we desire to build around our child as they grow up.

"In love he (God) predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved." – Ephesians 1:5-6
